Georgie spent many years enjoying a career in visual merchandising, always with a devotion to fitness in the background.
She retrained as a Personal Trainer, bringing her love of exercise and her visual eye to train her clients. Supporting them to find a sustainable form of movement, connecting the mind and body.
On discovering barre after the birth of her second child she instantly fell in love with the technique and its benefits to her body, qualifying as an instructor.
Her desire to merge her two careers meant The Barre Fitness Studio was born. Bringing the latest techniques in functional movement and creativity to its classes.
Hannah trained as a professional dancer at The Legat School of Dance and The Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary As a qualified fitness instructor and Personal Trainer, Hannah is ready to bring her many years of teaching experience to The Barre Fitness Studio.
Her classes are seamlessly choreographed, enjoyable, challenging whilst being attentive to technique. She can’t wait to see you at the barre….
Ania has been dancing their whole life and graduated from the London Contemporary Dance School in 2015. Ania became a Barre instructor in 2016 and has been teaching in different studios in Bristol since.
Besides being an instructor, Ania is also an artist and community worker, and brings this creative and bonding energy to class. Enthusiastic, joyful and grounded, Ania invites people to appreciate, through movement, that their bodies are powerful and unique. Ania’s classes hit the balance between challenging and calming, with space to be playful, and always fun!
Hannah started her barre journey as a client, she fell in love with the classes and now has over 2 years teaching experience. Having discovered the benefits for the body and mind, she couldn’t wait to share this with others.
Hannah loves to focus on your technique, gently encouraging that extra repetition, guiding you through each position and leaving you feeling that infamous burn whilst always making you smile…. Kimberly took her first barre class in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the method. Feeling a newfound sense of strength, both physically and mentally Kimberly trained with Barrecore in 2019 in order to share her obsession and passion for barre with others.
With Kimberly, expect a full body workout that feels fresh and challenging each session – no two classes are the same. Kimberly brings a sense of levity and fun to every class as you move to her amazing playlists. She will encourage you to find movement that feels great for your body and leave with a bounce in your step….
Movement has always been part of Safia’s life, starting as a gymnast, then spending the last 17 year putting her body through its paces as a circus performer, aerialist and acrobat.
Safia came to Barre when searching for more sustainable training methods to release her body’f full physical potential without compromising safety.
She’s a firm believer in movement for mental health and Barre’s ability to stabilise and strenghten the smaller muscle groups.
Each class is crafted with a desire to keep the her clients physical movement flame burning well into old age.
Harriett is an actress, yogi and reflexologist.
A long term lover of barre she is delighted to be joining the team at The Barre Fitness Studio!
Her style of teaching style is rooted in making movement work for you and your body; exploring the biomechanics of your own personal anatomy to help you feel confident and empowered in the way your body is meant to move.
Expect high energy, great tunes with no dogma or pressure to do anything other than that which feels delicious!
Lauren, a lover of long distance running for a number of years, found an injury led her to yoga and barre.
Inspired by its grounding nature and focus on self care, she loved the nurturing of yoga but became immediately hooked by the infamous barre burn and the rush of endorphins it gave. Barre filled the natural high gap left by stopping running but subsequently left her feeling stronger, more resilient and happy.
Her classes are fun and challenging, blending the strengthening and lengthening movement of barre to her banging playlists. She’ll leave you with an endorphin rush you’ll love to crave…
